This is my favorite hot button of the moment. As a private pilot, I am opposed to the idea of user fees or increases in aviation gas taxes. It is already prohibitively expensive to operate a private plane. Perhaps some difference can be made between a private pleasure aircraft and a corporate plane. Alas, in my opinion it will never pass. Even though the airlines have money, private enterprise has way more to lobby with.
